Finally a friggin full blown movie review that I kept pushing back for nearly a month. Went to go see this earlier today
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
2012: Been looking forward to this movie cause I love to watch disaster movies haha and of course Roland Emmerich is the king of disaster films with such films like Independence Day, and Day After Tomorrow. This film is about ‘An epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors.’ The visual effects are quite amazing to see, and rather scary cause your like omg this can happened to the world and we’re rather helpless. There are some unrealistic moments like how the plane can just take off so easily like that, but you just gotta remember that this is a movie and it’s here for your entertainment. John Cusack was pretty awesome in this, well at least it’s not Nicolas Cage(speaking of Cage I feel kind of sorry for him with all the drama that he is facing with losing some of his money) anywho everyone else did a nice job with their roles, the little boy was kind of a jackass in the beginning but in these type of movies there is always one or 2 annoying ass kids lol. I did find the guy who played Sasha rather cute. The Russian billionaire had a deep ass voice and it was hard to understand what he was saying at times. The film is rather long, with the running time of 2 hours and 35 mins. I think if they cut about 15-30 mins of it it would’ve been nicer, but overall the film was predictable at times but it was very entertaining…so if you want to have a fun, well it’s not really fun seeing the world get destroyed and people dying, but if you want to have some fun with adventure thriller this movie might be for you.
Grade: C

Onto the rest of the reviews, sorry if they seem to be half ass, I seriously just wanted to get it done asap. haha.

Up, G.I. Joe, Monsters vs Aliens, Shutter, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, A Dirty Shame, Gommrah, Seventh Moon, 11:14, Slap Shot, Blood The Last Vampire, 2 Days in Paris, Drag Me to Hell, Rendition, Land of the Lost, Trick R Treat, and Night of the Living Dead )

blah finally I finished haha.

Yesterday I bought myself a 1080p HDTV.
It's a 22in by Vizio and it was on sale for $249. Really great deal for a full HD tv, especially one for under 30 in. In fact you rarely find any HDTV that are under 30in that are full 1080p HD. The bluray looks friggin awesome, so fucking clear it's like damn. TV wise, the quality is not that great cause the satelite receiver in my room isn't HD, plus it's plug with the 3 cord wire thingy(white, red, and yellow), the quality might be better if I get a S cord. So I think I will go look for a S cord later on.
So I'm most definitely looking forward to watching Generation Kill on bluray. FINALLY!

Wednesday 2012 comes out!! Looking foward to watching that movie cause I love watching diaster films haha. Jeez speaking of movies, I'm super behind on my movie reviews. I'm probably going to do a half ass one where it's super short commentary. haha.

Anoywho I saw this meme at [info]dancerocknight journal so I decided to do it too since I'm bored.

Firstly: If you've been tagged, you must write your answers in your own LJ and replace any question that you dislike with a new, original question.
Secondly: Tag eight people. Don't refuse to do that. Don't tag who tagged you. Fuck you I can refuse to do whatever I feel like. Bitch.

onto the answers )

November 7th was my birthday.
Usually my birthdays are very low key, I rarely do anything for my birthday. But this particular birthday was one that I was most looking forward to. Reason why. HOVA. The Jigga man himself Jay-Z was coming to Fresno to do a show.

I woke up, got dress and headed to work for a few hours. Got home, read some birthday wishes from people on Facebook, and various other sites. THANK YOU ALL FOR THE BIRTHDAY WISHES, I APPRECIATE IT
Took a shower and got ready to head to head out to Chukchansi to go eat some dinner with the family before we head out to the Jay-Z show.

"We are, Yeah I said it, We are, This is Roc Nation, Pledge your allegiance. Get y'all fatigues on All black everything. Black cards, black cars. All black everything."

Hellz yea man I wore my fatigue that night, I wore all black, black pants, black sweater, black jacket, black socks, black shoes, black bag, black watch, black hair tie, black bobby pins, even my bra and camisole was black. lol. I was fucking ready bitches. haha.

More under here with some pictures and vids that aren't mine )

So bascially it was a great birthday. I got to see Jay-Z, I got to see Pharrell, I got me a new Batman action figure, I got me Family Guy Vol. 7 uncensored dvd which will be great to watch, and I gots me some money from my daddy that will go to the flat screen 1080p tv fund haha.
Again, thank you to those that wished me a Happy Birthday, I truly appreciate it. :D
*hugs*
